Weekend Team Leader Position

STARTING SALARY: $9/Hour

HOURS: AS NEEDED

SCHEDULE: AS NEEDED. Usual start time is 7:40am but will vary. Occasional work will be required after regular work hours and/or on weekends. 

ROLE: The role of the Mover I is to provide outstanding customer service and help physically move items during the move. Mover I will report directly to the crew leader at all job sites and will be expected to work independently and with other team members as necessary. 

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor with customers at all times.

• Prepare items for transport to/from the moving truck.

• Safely carry items to the moving truck as instructed by the crew leader, being sure not to damage the item, premises, or any persons during the move.

• Pack items into boxes while ensuring that damage will not occur.

• Communicate positively and professionally with other crew members.

• Perform other duties necessary for a move as asked by the crew leader.

• Arrive on time for moves. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor for entire move.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong customer service skills including patience and positive demeanor

• Ability to safely and consistently lift at least 50 lbs.

• Experience in Moving and/or Customer Service.

• Proficiency, or desire to learn, intricacies of moving and a professional moving company.
